秋葵對糖尿病的功效

服用秋葵可以使糖尿病的症狀減輕，血糖可以得到控制

服用方法:

拿兩條六角豆並切除頭尾兩端部分，再沿長身中間界一小刀，然後將這兩條六角豆放入一杯清水﹝室温﹞中，蓋好並在室溫下放置過夜。清晨，在早餐前從水中取出丟掉兩條六角豆並飲用此水。另外的服用方法即每晚上將兩條六角豆切碎，並加入開水中(約一碗水)並在第二天早晨將它喝光，每日堅持如此一般兩個星期後既可看到血糖降低的效果，有糖尿病的病人不妨一試。

如果服用秋葵而會造成腹瀉者，可以改服用山藥。如血糖很高者須同時配合中西藥的服用效果才會在穩定中進步

MENONGMAHAWANGSASIA--- MALAYSIA HISTORY RETOLD????

KUALA LUMPUR: Local history books may have to be re-written to accommodate a Universiti Sains Malaysia(USM) archaeological team’s discovery that the Kedah sultanate pre-dates Malacca as the oldest in the Malay peninsula.

The team from USM’s Centre for Global Archaeological Research (PPAG) has unearthed evidence of ancient artifacts and an iron smelting site in Kedah dating back to 110 AD.

Among the discoveries were a complete and intact foundation of a stone building constructed with detailed geometrical precision, revealing the unification of the concept of squares and circles.

The excavation, which began in February 2009, is expected to provide answers to various questions regarding the history of the excavation site at Sungai Batu, Bujang Valley.

S Gobikrishnan, an independent researcher, added: “It (the government) must accept the hard evidence and set the record straight about the early history of Bujang Valley, and Malaysia’s history should start with Kedah and not Malacca.”

Gobikrishnan, the head of the Lembah Bujang Independent Research Group for the past seven years, said the federal government deliberately concealed the facts about the history of Kedah and in the process played out the Sultanate of Kedah by giving prominence to Malacca.

According to him, Merong Mahawangsa, the founder of the Kedah kingdom, was originally a prince by the name of Maaran Mahavamsan from Persia and not Macedonia.

Wrong assumptions

He said most historians have made wrong assumptions about Merong Mahawangsa. “Mahavamsan”, means “from a great generation” and Maaran Mahavamsan comes from the lineage of Alexander the Great.

“After Alexander won the Battle of Gaugamela in Persia, he married a local princess by the name of Shaher Ul Beriah. And Maaran Mahavamsan was a 11th generation decendent of Shaher Ul Beriah,” said Gobikrishnan.

Although Maaran Mahavamsan was born in Persia, his name clearly suggests he was of Hindu stock, said Gobikrishnan, who added that for trading purposes, he travelled to a port city called Nagapattinam which still exists today in South India.

From there he sailed to Kedah and formed the Kingdom of Kedah. Athough there are many theories for Maaran’s arrival in Kedah, trade seemed to be his main purpose. Moreover, Kedah was considered part of “greater India” from West India to Cambodia.

Gobikrishnan also said that under Maaran’s administration, Kedah become a famous entreport and a second century inscription found at the Puhar Port (in Chola Kingdom, India) clearly acknowledges the existence of Kedah.

The inscription states that Kedah was famous among traders for trading in “luxuries” (spices). A recent discovery also showed that Kedah had an old port constructed of wood in Merbok.

“So, all the earliest sites like the iron smelting foundary, port and stone structures showed that Kedah played an important role as an industrial and trading centre.

“Starting with Maaran Mahavamsan until Maharaja Durbar Raja who was also known as Sultan Muzaffar Shah (1136-1179), Kedah had eight Hindu kings before Durbar Raja converted to Islam

The Bugis are the cross-breed between the Mongolian Chinese and the marauding Arab Pirates. Interestingly, the Bugis, (just like their Arabic ancestors) were career Pirates in the Johor-Riau Island areas. Now the nephew of Daeng Kemboja was appointed as the First Sultan of Selangor. That makes the entire Selangor Sultanate part Arab, part Chinese! Try talking to the Bugis Museum curator near Kukup in Johor. Kukup is located near the most south-western tip of Johor. (Due south of Pontian Kechil) He is more than willing to expound on the Bugis heritage. Buy him lunch and he can talk for days on end.

Let's not even get into the Hang Tuah, Hang Jebat, Hang Kasturi, Hang Lekiu, and Hang Lekir, who shared the same family last name as the other super famous "Hang" family member... Hang Li Poh. And who was she? Legend tells us that she is the Princess of a Ming Dynasty Emperor who was sent to marry the Sultan of Malacca. Won't that make the entire Malacca Sultanate downline "Baba"? Since the older son of the collapsed Malaccan Sultanate got killed in Johor, (the current Sultanate is the downline of the then, Bendahara) the only other son became the Sultan of Perak. Do we see any Chinese-ness in Raja Azlan? Is he the descendant of Hang Li Poh? But wait a minute....

That's what legend says. Let's look at the proof. The solid evidence. There is a well next to the Zheng He Temple in Malacca which is supposed to be the well built by the Sultan of Malacca for Hang Li Poh. According to legend, anyone who drinks of it shall re-visit Malacca before they die. Hmmm smells like a romantic fairy tale already. But let's look at who Hang Li Poh actually is. Which Ming Emperor was she a daughter to? So I got into researching the entire list of Ming Emperors. Guess what? Not a single Ming Emperor's last name begins with Hang. In fact, all their last names begin with Tzu (pronounced Choo). So who is Hang Li Poh? An Extra Concubine? A Spare Handmaiden? Who knows? But one thing for certain, is that she was no daughter of any of the Ming Emperors. Gone is the romantic notion of the Sultan of Malacca marrying an exotic Chinese Princess. Sorry guys, the Sultan married an unidentified Chinese commoner.

Next question. If the Baba’s are part Malay, why have they been marginalized by NOT BEING BUMIPUTERA? Which part of “Malay” are they not? Whatever the answer, why then are the Portugese of Malacca BUMIPUTERA? Did they not come 100yrs AFTER the arrival of the first Baba’s? Parameswara founded Malacca in 1411. The Portugese came in 1511, and the Dutch in the 1600’s. Strangely, the Baba’s were in fact once classified a Bumiputera, but some Prime Minister decreed that they were to be strangely “declassified” in the 1960’s. WHY? How can a "native son of the soil" degenerate into an "un-son"? The new classification is "pendatang" meaning a migrant to describe the Baba's and Nyonyas. Wait a minute, isn't EVERYONE on the Peninsular a migrant to begin with? How can the government discriminate?

Australoid refers to Aboriginal Australian and Papuans. The Malays, Filipinos, Indonesians and so on do not fit into this category. They would be considered closer to Mongoloid than Australoid, although both these labels are old-fashioned and don’t work all that well as clearly defined categories.

Malays were part of the migration of Polynesian peoples whose original home was Yunnan in China to South East Asia in what is known as Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia……….

At that time the Orang Asli were already well settled in the malay Peninsula, so that makes them the most legitimate of the bumis.

Malays were animists then for hundreds of years until Indians crossed Bay of Bengal to South East Asia and spread Indian and Hindu culture to the peoples there.

Hence we had the great Hindu kingdoms which later also became Buddhist kingdoms of Langkasuka, Srivijaya, Majapahit – but main thing to note is that racially the peoples were malays and speak old malay language.

Islam only came to South East Asia from 1400 after foundation of Malacca by Parameswara. Again from India crossed Bay of Bengal and spread Islam to South East Asia. Malacca sultans were among the first converts and the rest is history.

Please note that the malays have been Muslims for only 600 years and have been Hindus/Buddhists very much longer – at least 2000 years. Malay culture is very much influenced by Hindu culture including Sanskrit words like the wayang kulit, raja, maharaja, etc.

Unlike Javanese, who are proud of their Hindu/Buddhist past reflected in great empires like Srivijaya and Majapahit, malays are generally ashamed to dwell on their pre Islamic Hindu/Buddhist past.

On the contrary some malays try to be like the Arab wannabes, trying to cleanse the malays of their Hindu/Buddhist past – in this even the songs and films of P Ramlee become victimized!

It is no secret that Parameswara was an Indian and a Hindu prince until he married a Pasai princess and converted to Islam and adopted the Persian name Iskandar Shah.

There seemed to be no problem telling the truth as I just expressed it during my school days. The school textbooks were quite clear on this – but not today, I am told.

Once again the insecure Umno-led government had to wipe out any references to this famous Melaka prince as being Hindu and belonging to the powerful Hindu empire Srivijaya.

So all of a sudden our museums, school textbooks etc, all refer to Parameswara as a malay prince. Umno lying, mind you, is not confined to the mainstream newspapers.

Melayu words come from Sungai Melayu in Sumatera, there was a Kingdom called Melayu that time, before it was abosorbed into Sri Vijaya, by the way, Kedah was mostly Budist, which is same religion with Sri Vijaya in Sumatera, most of Hindus centered in Java.

So much money had been dumped to glorify Malacca to paint off the Portuguese relics. History is no mask changing trick.

Long before Islam was introduced to the archipelago, Indonesia largely consisted of Buddhist / Hindu kingdoms. So the Hindu history is longer than the Muslim history. Many Indonesian words originate from Sanskrit. Indonesian traditional architecture also shows many Hindu elements. You can see obvious similarities between traditional Indonesian and traditional Indian architecture. Hindu mythologies (Ramayana, Mahabharata) were also adopted into Indonesian culture, and Indonesians consider them as an Indonesian myth, not Hindu.

Malaysian history is a fake. There is no truth in it, you can call it the famous fairy tales of Malaya.

It is time Malaysia rewrites its history! The Malay Sultanates are all Hindu Indian decendants!!! This is so evident from the rituals done in the place during the coronation ceremony. The Malays who shout "kesetian kepada Raja dan Negara" must understand "setia" is "satyam" (truth or be true/loyal), "Raja", "negara" - "the loyalty to the king and country" are more Hindu/Indian in nature than it is Malay! Even the word Perkasa is Indian/Sanskrit!!!!

And "......shia" in Indonesia and Malaysia is also Sanskrit!!!

Perkasa must intellectually accept that the Malay Sultanates are Hindu descendants!!!!

The Sanskrit word “syurga” is always used in connection with the Islamic concept of paradise. The proper Arabic word for this is actually “al-jannah”. In the same way, the Hindu religious term “neraka” or hell is used by Muslim Malays to explain the Islamic concept of hell. The Arabic word for hell is “al-nar” : place of fire. Then the Muslim fast, the abstention of food and drink is known by Sanskrit term “puasa”. A Muslim religious leader is often called a “guru” (remember Tok Guru Nik Aziz?) another Hindu religious term, in fact the name of a Hindu deity, Batara Guru. The Muslim prayer is among the Malays called “sembahyang”. “sembah” in Sanskrit means “to pray” and “yang” is a Sanskrit term meaning divinity or conjuring respect as in “Sang Yang Tunggal” the most divine one and “Yang Dipertuan”.

学佛本为解决生老病死的大问题。。。。。

问：“那么，在家人如果有心正修禅定，但又有眷属，怎么办？”
答：那你只有效法维摩诘居士：“示有妻子，常修梵行。”梵行就是不行淫欲，连与配偶的“正淫”都不作，与出家人一样。不过关于行梵行，须非常注意，须知：在家而能行梵行，须有很大福报，因为你自己不乐行淫，而且配偶也正与你同心、同行，这样才可以修离欲行（行梵行）。因为敦伦是两人间的事，故在家人修梵行，也必须两人同心配合才好，千万不可勉强，必须你的配偶与你同心，欢喜行之才行：若稍有一点勉强、或不欢喜，乃至抱怨，都可能引发家庭的风波，乃至婚姻生变——学佛本为解决生老病死的大问题，结果学了佛，这些问题没有能解决，又造成家庭大问题，令很多人受害、受苦，如是则更不是学佛的本旨；因此，于行梵行，千万不可一头热、一意孤行，致成大错，造成人生的一大遗憾，又令不信佛之人得到毁谤佛法的把柄，非常不适宜。因此学佛须知：“有多少因缘，便修多少行”，不可太过勉强，弄巧成拙。

【“汝教世人修三摩地，先断心淫。是名如来先佛世尊第一决定清净明诲。”】
【注释】
“修三摩地，先断心淫”：想要修三摩地之人，须先断心淫，连心都不能有淫意了，更何况“身淫”！起心动念都不能去想淫欲之事，更何况还实际去做它呢？
“是名如来先佛世尊第一决定清净明诲”：“如来”，指现在佛，这不只是指释尊而已，而是泛指现在一切诸佛。“先佛世尊”，指过去一切诸佛。“第一”以此“明诲”乃居于菩萨四重禁之首，故称第一，也是首要之义。“决定”，是确定、不可改易之义。“清净”，无染之义。“明”，光明，相对于无明、黑暗。“诲”，训诲，教敕。整句言：这是现在一切诸佛及过去一切诸佛所共说的，第一决定、不可改易的、清净无染、光明之教诲。
【义贯】
“汝教”导“世人”时须说：凡欲“修三摩地” 者，必须“先断心”中之意“淫”，更不可身淫。“是名”为现在十方诸佛“如来”及过去一切“先佛世尊” 所共说的修三摩地的“第一”项“决定”不可变易、“清净”无染、光“明”之训 “诲”。

They said the song was very popular there and very often played by a French band which usually played a variety of songs and held concerts for the people of that island. It was believed that the melody of the song was composed by a French musician named Pierre Jean de Beranger who was born in France in 1780 and died in 1857. According to Raja Kamarulzaman’s story, the song was introduced by an opera group from Indonesia during a show in Singapore. Over a short span of time the song became very popular in Singapore and was given the name Terang Bulan. Even after the song had become the tune for the Perak State anthem, it was still played at social functions. It remained as such until it became the tune for the Malaysian National anthem named Negaraku.

捨不得孩子吃苦，將來他會更苦！

不怕吃苦，只吃半辈子苦；怕吃苦，要吃一辈子苦如果你們不能一輩子供給我優渥的生活，那為什麼從小要讓我養成這種習慣?......... 日前在聯合副刊看到一篇讀者投書，作者叫佳佳，內容如下：有一對父母，他們的小孩大學畢業，上班了，有了收入，所以父母不再給零用錢，可是入了社會的小孩，用好的吃好的、追流行，錢根本不夠用，結果丟了一句話給父母： "如果你們不能一輩子供給我優渥的生活，那為什麼從小要讓我養成這種習慣.........." 看了打了個冷顫，我們是不是也是這樣的父母？我們要怎樣教我們的孩子愛物惜物？我今年二十歲，目前因故休學，在一家安親班打工。安親班鄰近便利商店，孩子很喜歡去那裡買東西。常見包子吃一口就丟，飲料喝半罐就不要。洋芋片才吃兩片，就買一包別的來吃。這些孩子平常也喜歡偷藏別人的東西開玩笑，愛看人家著急的神情。我曾多次制止，他們卻毫不覺得不妥，甚至腦筋還動到我的火車月票上。我生活一向儉約，身上很少帶超過五十元。失去月票，我回不了家，只能投宿朋友家。而我怎樣也沒有想到－竟是他們偷拿我的東西！他們非常聰明，一直等到月票過期了才拿出來還給我。我說，這種行為是不對的，我會寫在聯絡簿上告知家長。這些孩子竟然從錢包掏出兩千元摔在我面前：「小氣鬼，才兩百，賠妳就是了！」「才」兩百元嗎？我還不到可以老氣橫秋地說：「我們那個年代啊……」的年紀，我也沒嘗過貧窮的滋味，但那兩百元也是我辛苦從生活費中儉省下來的，是我半個月的生活費啊！這些孩子竟然可以這麼不屑地從錢包？掏出來摔在我面前！這讓我想起之前某一次當家教，我看那個孩子家中並非十分富裕，醫科生的我，時薪是可以索價50到70元的，但我只要了時薪30元。我認真地教他，無奈學生不用心，總是想聊天，不想聽課，後來竟挑明了說：「要不是我媽說，上妳一小時課，給我50元，我才不想聽妳講這些無聊東西呢！」原來請我當家教，比請他當學生便宜多了！我不知道這些孩子的家庭是否真的很富裕，但他們生活的態度簡直像暴發戶。這樣對孩子好嗎？父母不能供應孩子一輩子！是不是應〞教會孩子節儉〞，比期望孩子以後能賺大錢，維持闊綽生活，可實際多了。昨天我在教室的白板上心痛地寫下：「一粥一飯，當思來處不易；半絲半縷，恆念物力維艱。」這是一個很古老的諺語，但我不認為這不合時代。教給孩子這個美德，是留給他們一項比萬貫家財還要重要的資產。因為自己小時候過得辛苦，便盡量給孩子好日子過的家長〞請深思〞，這樣究竟是愛孩子，還是害了孩子。捨不得孩子吃苦，將來他會更苦！許多父母養小孩是把孩子捧在手心上，怕他凍著、怕他餓著、摔著．．．其實這種過度的保護，只會讓他更低能、更依賴、更不知如何面對人生的大風大浪！我想這也許是巴菲特把他的財產捐給慈善機構的原因吧。

高王觀世音真經序

南摩本師釋迦牟尼佛 (三稱)

開經偈無上甚深微妙法。百千萬劫難遭遇。我今見聞得受持。願解如來真實義。

觀世音菩薩﹐南無佛﹐南無法﹐南無僧﹐佛國有緣﹐佛法相因﹐常樂我淨﹐有緣佛法﹐

南無摩訶般若波羅蜜﹐是大神咒﹐南無摩訶般若波羅蜜﹐是大明咒﹐南無摩訶般若波羅蜜﹐是無上咒﹐南無摩訶般若波羅蜜﹐是無等等咒。

南無淨光秘密佛﹐法藏佛﹐獅子吼神足幽王佛﹐佛告須彌燈王佛﹐法護佛﹐金剛藏獅子遊戲佛﹐寶勝佛﹐神通佛﹐藥師琉璃光王佛﹐普光功德山王佛﹐善住功德寶王佛。

過去七佛﹐未來賢劫千佛﹐千五百佛﹐萬五千佛﹐五百花勝佛﹐百億金剛藏佛﹐定光佛。

六方六佛名號﹐東方寶光月殿月妙尊音王佛﹐南方樹根花王佛﹐西方皂王神通燄花王佛﹐北方月殿清淨佛﹐

上方無數精進寶首佛﹐下方善寂月音王佛﹐無量諸佛﹐多寶佛﹐釋迦牟尼佛﹐彌勒佛﹐ 阿閦佛﹐彌陀佛。

中央一切眾生﹐在佛世界中者﹐行住於地上﹐及在虛空中﹐慈憂於一切眾生﹐各令安穩休息﹐晝夜修持﹐心常求誦此經﹐能滅生死苦﹐消除諸毒害。

南無大明觀世音﹐ 觀明觀世音﹐高明觀世音﹐開明觀世音﹐藥王菩薩﹐藥上菩薩﹐文殊師利菩薩﹐普賢菩薩﹐虛空藏菩薩﹐地藏菩薩﹐清涼寶山億萬菩薩﹐普光王如來化勝菩薩﹐念念誦此經。

七佛世尊﹐即說咒曰。「離婆離婆帝﹐求訶求訶帝﹐陀羅尼帝﹐尼訶囉帝﹐毘離尼帝﹐摩訶伽帝﹐真靈乾帝﹐梭哈。」(七遍)

十方觀世音﹐一切諸菩薩﹐誓願救眾生﹐稱名悉解脫﹐若有智慧者﹐慇懃為解說﹐但是有因緣﹐讀誦口不輟﹐誦經滿千遍﹐念念心不絕﹐火燄不能傷﹐刀兵立摧折﹐恚怒生歡喜﹐死者變成活﹐莫言此是虛﹐諸佛不妄說﹐

高王觀世音﹐能救諸苦厄﹐臨危急難中﹐死者變成活﹐諸佛語不虛﹐是故應頂禮﹐持誦滿千遍﹐重罪皆消滅﹐有福堅信者﹐專攻受持經﹐

念八大菩薩名號。南摩觀世音菩薩摩訶薩。南摩彌勒菩薩摩訶薩。南摩虛空藏菩薩摩訶薩。南摩普賢菩薩摩訶薩。南摩金剛手菩薩摩訶薩。南摩妙吉祥菩薩摩訶薩。南摩除蓋障菩薩摩訶薩。南摩地藏王菩薩摩訶薩。南摩諸尊菩薩摩訶薩。

願以此功德﹐普及於一切﹐誦滿一千遍﹐重罪皆消滅。高王觀世音真經終歡迎翻印﹐廣種菩提因。

观自在

观自在菩萨，行深般若波罗蜜多时，照见五蕴皆空，度一切苦厄。
舍利子，色不异空，空不异色，色即是空，空即是色，
受想行识，亦复如是。
舍利子，是诸法空相，不生不灭，不垢不净，不增不减。
是故空中无色，无受想行识，无眼耳鼻舌身意，无色声香味触法，无眼界，乃至无意识界，无无明，亦无无明尽，乃至无老死，亦无老死尽。
无苦集灭道，无智亦无得，以无所得故。菩提萨埵，依般若波罗蜜多故，心无挂碍，无挂碍故，无有恐怖，远离颠倒梦想，究竟涅槃。
三世诸佛，依般若波罗蜜多故，得阿耨多罗三藐三菩提。
故知般若波罗蜜多是大神咒，是大明咒，是无上咒，是无等等咒，能除一切苦，真实不虚。
故说般若波罗蜜多咒，
即说咒曰：揭谛揭谛，波罗揭谛，波罗僧揭谛，菩提娑婆诃。
