同善医院被射水炮与催泪弹风波出现新进展，尽管卫生部长廖中莱与同善医院董事局异口同声否认此事，不过一批医生今晚联署声明，证明709当天镇暴队的确曾向同善医院与华人接生院的范围发射催泪弹及水炮。
这批医生也证实，警方的确曾在709当天，进入医院的建筑物内，以搜查709的和平游行者。
他们对于当日的事情，乃至后来有关当局的回应，感到愤怒。
这份声明共有11名医生联署，通过其中一名医生慕沙诺丁（Musa Mohd Nordin）所发出。其他联署者包括了妇产科顾问Ng Kwee Boon、儿科顾问Low Paik See、小儿心脏科顾问玛兹尼（Mazeni Alwi）、心脏科顾问David Quek、妇产科顾问赛佐哈里（Sheikh Johari Bux）、整形科顾问Steve Wong、心脏外科顾问阿末法鲁克（Ahmad Farouk Musa）、心脏科顾问Ng Swee Choon、麻醉科顾问Mary Cardosa与内科顾问杰菲里（Jeffrey Abu Hassan）。
上述联署者之中，一些是来自同善医院与华人接生院的医生。
炮轰警方妄顾病人安全
他们炮轰警方，当日向两家医院发射催泪弹与水炮的做法，妄顾病人、医护人员及公众的安全。
“医院应该被视为是安全的庇护所，就算是在战争时期亦是如此。但这个神圣的庇护所，却在当天下午被国安部队所冒犯。”
“警方甚至进入医院建筑物，以搜查其中一些和平游行者。一些示威者进入医院不过是要逃避催泪弹及水炮，然而许多人目睹并感到最为震惊的是，警方却于医院范围内，在没有受到挑衅的情况下，粗暴攻击及逮捕数名示威者。”
抨击否认者毫不知廉耻
声明说，最让人无法接受的是，尽管已经有数不清的照片、短片、目击者及独立观察员的声明，但理应保障弱势及需要社群的有关当局，却仍然不知廉耻地公开否认当天所发生的事情。
声明说，其中一些联署的医生当时身处两家医院中，非常愿意挺身而出，包括立下法定宣誓书，以说出真相。
声明表示，他们本来不希望卷入净选盟2.0游行的争论，但随着事态的进展，有必要出来道出事实。
廖中莱：不要引用照片
前日，卫生部长廖中莱巡访同善医院后，与医院董事局异口同声表示，调查发现，镇暴队并没向同善医院发射水炮或催泪弹。
他说，本身已经向院方求证，网上的言论并不正确。
他声称，警方只曾向医院前的大路发射水炮及催泪弹，以驱散709净选盟集会的集会者。
至于水炮，他则说，由于镇暴队是以45度发射水炮，因此不排除一些水，落到医院的范围。
廖中莱与同善医院董事主席黄茂桐也双双否认，警方曾进入同善医院范围，逮捕集会者。反之，两人声称，警方只是把一些受了轻伤的“示威者”，送进医院接受治疗。
询及网上流传的照片和短片与他所称的不符，廖中莱说：“不要再引用照片及短片作为证据，院方已经证实此事。”

昨晚（13/7），同善医院11位有良知的医生发表联署声明，证明709当天镇暴队的确曾向同善医院与华人接生院的范围发射催泪弹及水炮。
这群有良知的11名医生炮轰警方，妄顾病人、医护人员及公众的安全。医生们都愿意立下法定宣誓书，以说出真相。
最可悲的是，马华总会长狡辩那是 “角度” 问题，署理总会长说那是 “风向”、“送轻伤者去治疗”，总之就是一派胡言，想用一个谎言欺骗全国人民。
事实告诉我们，纸是保不住火的，马华每发表一个言论只会为自己再倒票，只能说马华不适合在马来西亚生存，“荷兰” 会比较适合马华！

【本刊记者撰述】11名医生挺身而出，表明愿意提供法律宣誓书，以便证明镇暴警察在净选盟大集会中确实向同善医院与华人接生院范围发生催泪弹与水炮。他们抨击镇暴警察毫不顾及医生与病人的安全。

11名医生在周三晚突然向媒体发布上述联署书，掀起一阵涟漪，驳斥早前卫生部长廖中莱与同善医院管理层声称镇暴警察不曾向医院发生催泪弹，前者还称那是风吹所造成的。
联署书表明，“我们这些参与联署的医生不愿卷入2011年7月9日净选盟集会的争议，但是却要澄清令人困扰的事件真相”。
联署信表明对该事件以及官方的反应深感愤怒，并指出镇暴警察的催泪弹与水炮确实射入同善医院与华人接生院的范围，“不顾建筑物内的病人、员工、公众安全”。
预料这项声明将令卫生部长与警方倍感尴尬。警察总长也极力否认，镇暴警察曾向医院发射催泪弹与水炮。警方与廖中莱的言论令目击该事件者深感愤怒，并纷纷在网上上载照片与短片力证该事件确曾发生。
尽管有证据仍不知耻地否认
联署信表示：“即便是战争时期，医院也是所有人的保护区，但是这个提供避难与保护的神圣之地却在该下午遭镇暴警力侵入。警察甚至进入建筑搜捕和平集会者。”
“更令人震惊的是，许多人目睹那些未挑起暴力的集会者在医院范围内遭受攻击，并遭羁押。那些集会者逃进医院只不过是为了躲避催泪弹和水炮。”
“执政者受委托照顾国民，保护弱势与贫困者，却公然与不知耻地否定上述事件，而不管已有无数独立观察者提供照片、录影及有目击者可证实上述事件确怎发生，这不啻是一大丑闻。”
文告表示，联署者当中甚至有人在场目睹该事件经过，并表明愿意提供法律宣誓书以证明其说法。

We are outraged at the incidents, and the subsequent responses from the authorities, to the events where tear gas and chemical laced water were shot into the compounds of Tung Shin and Chinese Maternity Hospitals, two adjacent buildings along Jalan Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, with scant regard for the safety of patients, staff and the general public who were at the buildings that afternoon.
Hospitals are considered as safe sanctuaries for all, even during war times, but these consecrated places of refuge and protection were violated by the defence forces that afternoon. Police even entered the buildings in search of some of these peaceful marchers. What was most frightening and witnessed by many was the unprovoked violent assault within the hospital compounds and apprehension of several protesters who had merely run into the hospitals to seek shelter from the tear gas and the water cannons!
It is repulsive that the authorities entrusted with policing the nation and protecting the weak and needy, have shamelessly denied publicly, the occurrence of these incidents IN SPITE of countless photo/video and eye witness accounts of what was evident to all independent observers.
A few of the undersigned were actually visiting or working in the hospitals concerned at the time of the events and will gladly provide sworn affidavits, if required, as to veracity of the incidents
The Malaysian public expect holders of high public office to honour their positions accorded by the citizens, by discharging their duties with moral integrity, dignity and transparency.
Their failure to do so raises the public's doubts in their competence and credibilty as much as it demeans those high offices.

Doctors say cops fired tear gas into Tung Shin compound

KUALA LUMPUR, July 13 — A group of doctors said today they were prepared to provide sworn affidavits to say that police had fired tear gas and chemical-laced water into the compounds of the Tung Shin and Chinese Maternity Hospitals during the Bersih rally last Saturday.
In a statement tonight, 11 doctors, including some who were at the scene, said they were outraged at the actions of the police in firing tear gas and water cannons without scant regard for the safety of patients and doctors.
“We, the undersigned doctors, wish not to enter into the polemics of the Bersih 2.0 march on 9th July 2011 but would like to clarify the inconvenient truth.
“We are outraged at the incidents, and the subsequent responses from the authorities, to the events where tear gas and chemical-laced water were shot into the compounds of the Tung Shin and Chinese Maternity Hospitals, two adjacent buildings along Jalan Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, with scant regard for the safety of patients, staff and the general public who were at the buildings that afternoon,” the doctors said.
Their statement contradicts that of Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai who had denied the police had shot into the hospital compounds, claiming instead that the wind had blown the gas in.
Liow also said that shots from the water cannons had only brushed the edges of the hospital walls.
The police have also denied shooting directly into the hospital compounds after protesters had sought refuge there.

The statement tonight by the senior doctors is likely to embarrass the authorities who have claimed minimal force was used.

Yesterday, MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek, a former health minister, said the police had to fire tear gas near Tung Shin Hospital to protect its patients from Bersih 2.0 protesters who had sought refuge there.
The MCA president said the situation should be viewed “in totality”, pointing out that the police would be accused of not doing their job had they decided against dispersing the crowd of protesters that had run into the hospital.
Dr Chua also said it was difficult to determine what exactly transpired at the hospital on Saturday as it was hard to tell the whole story from the photos and videos that have emerged online since then.

【709暴力受害者】
多名709集会的警方暴力受害者今日挺身而出，向人权委员会投诉他们被暴力对待的经历。
1)一名躲在同善医院的受害者刘城达揭露，当他被警方逮捕带离医院时，一名警员竟使用沾湿了化学水的毛巾，直接砸到他的脸上，让他痛苦不已，许久不能视物。警方也以手铐铐住他，再用穿了皮靴的脚不断蹬踏他。
2)砂州独行侠许长发则表示，本身在武吉加里尔被扣押时，遭一名警员以手背掴打近十次，以致他眼镜飞离，最后更被打到晕倒。
“当我醒来后，发现竟然睡在5尺外的地板上。”
3)另一名只愿以“阿伦”作简称的印裔青年，则申诉被警方暴打时，听闻其中一名警员恫言要杀害他。

如果真的如我们"敬爱"的卫生部部长廖中莱说所....警方进医院是为了送那些受伤的人民去治疗...看了这Video后....我想问廖部长....这些警员是不是因为被人民攻击了而进去医院贴胶布呢？还是他们进去帮忙接生?

反贪会今年4月在取缔30亿令吉漏税的3B行动中，逮捕了5名官员，包括在吉隆坡反贪会总会坠死的前雪州关税局助理总监阿末沙巴尼。这些沙巴尼的同僚今日陆续在沙巴尼坠楼验尸案供证，大谈被扣及被调查的经验。
其中一名现身说法的关税局执法官员阿都拉欣（Abdul Rahim Abdul Kadir）在庭上揭露反贪会施暴。他透露本身在被扣留期间遭人从后部敲打后脑杓，虽然当时已经偏头痛发作，被打时心脏更是怦怦跳个不停，结果导致愤然报警。
这名41岁的关税局执法员 也揭露，反贪会官员在盘诘过程中非常粗暴，不仅大声盘问及辱骂，甚至还长时间盘问被扣者。
阿都拉欣也指出，他本身于今年4月1日被逮直至5日获释为止，连续三天都被带返反贪会进行盘诘，最后一次也就是4日更是从早上8点多至深夜12点。
“当天，隔壁也有官员在录着口供，过程中发出很大的声响，吵得我连盘诘我的官员的话也听不清楚。这声音好像在辱骂，也对被盘诘者在制造压力。”
阿都拉欣也申诉，官员在当天除了让他吃饭时小休一下，就全程录取口供，而且在盘问过程不断提高声音，彷佛要他认罪似的。
“他要我认罪，我反问他是否有证据，他就生气及不满意。”
